In the mean time, let me introduce myself to you. My name is Joel, aka @cmedik on Twitter.

I’ve been a paramedic since 2001, which has given me plenty of time to explore the world of EMS and form many opinions based on those experiences. In 2004 I trained to the level of Advanced Care Paramedic, an accomplishment that helped to reshape many of my previous opinions and give rise to new ones.

This blog is an attempt to rationalize what I’ve seen, felt, experienced and internalized over the years. Subject matter will be varied, but generally fall within the realm of EMS related posts.
